schedule

For my schedule for my media project i will have the following deadlines:

•  Friday 10th February for my 1st draft piece of magazine work
• Friday 24th February for my 2nd piece of magazine work
• MY FINAL DEADLINE WILL BE TUESDAY 20TH MARCH!

In the next coming weeks:
 January 30th Monday, - I wll be taking pictures of my artists fot my magazine pieces and also having an interview with them
Tuesday 31st till the following saturday I will be working on my magazine pages
untill february the 20th i will be making my magazine
then after that date I will be working on my film/broadcast for brief 3 untill the deadline date, March 20th.

Happy scenes for a couple..... Maybe. (ideas)

Planning and drafting.

Today my group rehearsed the scenes that might be included in our film, the reason we did it is so we have a clear idea of what camera angles is to go where, camera shots etc. Also to see what the acting scenes would look like. We recorded mini snippets of the rehearsal on an ipod touch, good quality but obviously it's not going to be used for our final piece. Next we plan to start filming in the weekend.

Storyboard

Did the storyboard today and yesterday for our (me,giang,nathan) short film, detailed enough for us and gives us a clear action plan to work with.

Finally made the music!

Today Giang brought in his guitar and he played me and Nathan the instrumental songs for the scenes that we will be shooting. The song will first be happy then slowly start to build up with tension/sadness, we discussed how long the song will be, how many times it should be played, then about slowing down the chords on the guitar and how it will be included in the scen, also discussing the camera angles. The performing arts department did us a great favour by letting us use one of their rooms and equipment to record our song.  Maybe i'll  soon be able to post the song.

A guitar is a great instrument!
